A near-miss between two planes at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) was caught on a live broadcast and posted online, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Air traffic controllers were heard directing a Key Lime Air flight to stop just before crossing a runway as another Delta plane took off. However, the FAA stated that the Key Lime Air flight never crossed the runway’s edge line, and an investigation is currently underway.
