Veteran actor Bruce Glover has passed away at the age of 92. The news was shared on Instagram by Crispin Glover, Bruce’s son, who announced his father’s death due to natural causes. Born in Chicago during the Depression era, Bruce began his acting career after being drafted into the US Army for the Korean War. He debuted on Broadway in the 1960s and went on to appear in numerous films and TV shows.
Bruce was best known for his roles as Duffy in Chinatown (1974) and James Bond villain Mr Wint in Diamonds Are Forever (1971). His extensive career included starring opposite Jack Nicholson, appearing in the Walking Tall series, and working with notable directors like Donald Farmer.
Glover’s last acting role was in the 2015 film Influence. He is survived by his son Crispin Glover, who paid tribute to his father on social media, describing him as a “great actor, good man.” The film industry has lost a talented and dedicated actor, but his legacy will live on through his impressive body of work.
