Lewis Hamilton Slams Ferrari Team Amid Qualifying Struggles

Lewis Hamilton’s qualifying struggles continued as the seven-time world champion expressed frustration with his performance and his team, Ferrari. He qualified 12th for the Hungarian Grand Prix, failing to make it into the final part of qualifying by just 0.015 seconds.

Hamilton criticized himself, labeling him “absolutely useless” after watching teammate Charles Leclerc take pole position. When asked what he meant, Hamilton replied that it’s “just me every time.” Ferrari team principal was not available for comment at the time of his statement, but Hamilton suggested they should consider changing their driver.

This is Hamilton’s third disappointing qualifying session in two weeks, following a poor showing in Belgium and another early exit. The seven-time world champion has struggled to adapt to the Ferrari car, failing to score a podium finish despite his best result coming in a sprint race at the Chinese Grand Prix.

Hamilton acknowledged that rain forecast for Sunday might not provide an opportunity for him to recover from his current struggles. He expressed doubt about his chances in Hungary, stating, “I don’t think anything can help me right now.”
