LG C4 OLED TV Review and Prime Day Deal Alert

I’ve been reviewing televisions for over a decade and have seen many Amazon Prime Days come and go. This time around, I’m excited about the LG C4 OLED TV at 65 inches for $1,196.99 – that’s 56% off its original price of $2,699.99.

As a tester, I’ve had to replace my Hisense 65U8H almost three years ago, and replacing it with the latest model would cost around the same amount as this OLED TV. However, I’m confident in recommending the LG C4 because I’ve tested other C-series OLED TVs from LG, including last year’s C3 and C2 models. These TVs all earned high scores, including 4.5 stars for both.

LG makes excellent OLED TVs, and the midrange C-series consistently delivers a great combination of price and performance. In fact, CNET lab-tested the C4 and gave it an 8.7 out of 10 rating, along with an Editors’ Choice award.

According to CNET’s tests, the LG C4 is bright for an OLED, with peak brightness exceeding 1,000 nits. It also features a 144Hz refresh rate, hands-free Alexa, Apple AirPlay, and AMD FreeSync Premium for gaming.

At 65 inches, this TV is already a great value before considering its features. Compared to other options like the Hisense U8QG mini-LED TV, it’s worth noting that OLED TVs have their own set of benefits, including perfect contrast and responsiveness. However, these come at a higher cost.

For Prime Day, there aren’t many deals on high-quality TVs like this one. If you’re in the market for an excellent display, keep an eye on my updated list of best Prime Day 2025 deals.
