LG Unveils Two Lifestyle Projectors at CES

LG is set to debut two all-in-one “lifestyle projectors” at CES, featuring a unique blend of form and function. The PF600U and CineBeam S (model PU615U) both run on webOS, offering seamless integration with popular streaming apps.

The PF600U boasts multiple features that enhance its design, including a full HD projector, Bluetooth speaker, standing floor lamp, and automatic screen adjustment function. However, it has limitations in terms of brightness, producing only 300 ANSI lumens. This means the image quality may not be ideal unless viewed in dark conditions.

In contrast, the CineBeam S is an ultra-short throw projector that can produce a giant 4K image from just inches away from the wall or ambient light rejection screen. It features integrated stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and brighter lighting capabilities at 500 ANSI lumens. Despite these advancements, its performance may be affected by strong ambient lighting.

While details on pricing, release dates, and countries of availability are scarce for now, LG plans to reveal more information when the projectors are first publicly demonstrated in Las Vegas next week.
