Lindsay Lohan is eager to expand her family after welcoming her son Luai in 2023. The Mean Girls actress, 38, shared her thoughts on motherhood and her desire for another child during an interview with Elle. She wants to give her son a sibling to play with, saying “I feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves.” Lohan also revealed that she needs more than one kid to take care of herself when she’s older.
The actress has taken motherhood in stride, from preparing a nursery to embracing her postpartum body. She expressed pride in her body’s recovery after giving birth and credited having Luai as the greatest joy in the world. Lohan also shared a nod to her iconic Mean Girls role, saying “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”
In another interview, Lohan revealed that she takes a daily photo of Luai as soon as he wakes up. The actress prioritizes capturing those early morning moments with her son and finds it essential to be on his schedule.
Lohan shares Luai with husband Bader Shammas, who also has three siblings of his own, giving the couple a sense of family completeness that they’re aiming for.
