Grammy-winning artist Lizzo has revealed the meal plan that helped her achieve a weight loss goal, shedding 16% of her body fat since January 2023.
The 37-year-old singer shared her routine with Women’s Health magazine, detailing how she eats mainly protein and vegetables to maintain her physical health.
Her typical breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and a cauliflower hash brown. For lunch, she switches between shredded Thai chicken salad, lettuce wraps stuffed with tuna and sliced chicken breast. Dinner is usually a turkey meatloaf with cauliflower mashed potatoes and green beans.
Lizzo also revealed that she has gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and must eat earlier in the day to avoid discomfort at night. A snack typically consists of low-sugar Greek yogurt with blueberries or blackberries and honey.
The singer emphasizes the importance of balance, allowing herself to indulge occasionally. She does not take weight loss medication like Ozempic but had previously defended against allegations that she was taking it.
Lizzo’s weight loss journey began after she faced a series of sexual harassment and weight shaming allegations, which she maintains are false and ongoing in Los Angeles Superior Court.
