Balatro was a standout title last year, earning itself the top spot on PCGamesN’s GotY list and a nomination for the TGA Game of the Year award. Its unique blend of simple rules and endless replayability made it an instant hit among gamers.
Localthunk has revealed that they have completed 100% of the game by completing the Completionist++ Steam achievement, which requires 146 out of 150 gold stickers earned by using each joker in a gold-stake completion. The creator shared their experience of playing the game daily to achieve this feat.
With this milestone accomplished, Localthunk is now better equipped to deliver the highly anticipated 1.1 update. They expressed excitement about creating new content and refining their build-defining jokers for the upcoming update.
The creator also shared their go-to deck composition, which included Mostly Ghost, Painted, and Yellow cards. With this victory under their belt, fans can look forward to Localthunk’s innovative designs for Balatro 1.1.
