Lola Bonfiglio Earns Golden Ticket to Hollywood with Emotional Performance

Carnie Wilson’s daughter, 19-year-old Lola Auditon, made it to the next round of American Idol after an emotional audition. Lola entered the competition with her dad, Rob Bonfiglio, and the judges were taken aback when they realized she was singing alongside two of the members of her mom’s band, Wilson Phillips.

After a heartfelt performance of Kacey Musgraves’ “Rainbow,” the judges praised Lola for her unique voice and emotional delivery. Carrie Underwood noted that Lola’s presence is undeniable, and she has an honesty in her voice that is exciting to see.

Luke Bryan told Lola that while her tone and quality are perfect for certain songs, she needs to learn to belt and use her dynamics to fill the room more. However, he also saw potential in her and encouraged her to own her talent and artistry.

The judges ultimately gave Lola a Golden Ticket to Hollywood, with Carrie stating that she was born to sing. With this win, Lola is one step closer to becoming an American Idol champion and will have the opportunity to push herself and grow as a singer.
