Lola Bonfiglio Gets “Yes” from Judges with Pop-Star Family by Her Side

Singer Lola Bonfiglio took the stage for her Season 23 audition at Los Angeles audition day, accompanied by two pop-rock royalty – her mother Carnie Wilson and aunt Wendy Wilson. The duo is part of the hit supergroup Wilson Phillips, which boasts a successful career and multiple chart-topping hits.

Carnie and Wendy’s musical background runs deep, with Brian Wilson, co-founder of The Beach Boys, being their father. This family legacy seems to be at play as Lola performed alongside her father Rob on guitar during her audition.

The trio sang “Hold On,” one of the group’s biggest hits, earning praise from judge Carrie Underwood. “It’s like everybody’s genetically designed to sound good together” in families, she said.

Lola also went solo for a performance of Kacey Musgraves’ “Rainbow,” which showed her honesty and presence. Judge Underwood praised Lola’s talent, saying she needs to own her gift and showcase everything she has.

Bonfiglio’s performances earned her a unanimous “yes” from the judges, sending her to Hollywood. She’s excited to take on new challenges and grow as an artist.
