L’Oreal is recalling all Effaclar Duo products in the US due to potential benzene contamination. The cream, sold under La Roche-Posay’s brand, contains benzoyl peroxide, which helps treat acne. An independent lab, Valisure, reported concerns about benzene contamination a year ago. Despite a request for comment from the FDA, no immediate recall was issued for other acne treatments.
