Loring Park Shooting Victim Identified as Suspect Charged with Murder

Two men, Gregory Scarver, 42, and Prince Jhun Nebres, 43, were fatally shot at their Loring Park apartment on September 27. Robert Cardell Warren, 51, is facing charges of second-degree murder and illegal gun possession in connection with the shooting.

Warren, who has a history of assault convictions, was arrested after police arrived at the scene and found him standing in a doorway. He surrendered without being ordered to do so by police. A knife and shotgun shells were found in his pants pocket. The victims’ bodies were discovered in an elevator, both shot in the neck.

Warren remains jailed on $5 million bail ahead of his October 27 court appearance.
