Louis Riddick Interviewed for Jets GM Position

Former NFL player and analyst Louis Riddick has completed an interview with the New York Jets for their general manager position. Riddick, 55, currently works as an NFL and college football analyst for ESPN and ABC.

Before joining ESPN in 2013, Riddick held various front office positions with the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. He played college football at Pittsburgh, where he was a four-year letterman and team captain before being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1991.

Riddick has also interviewed for GM openings with the Lions and Texans in 2020. He is the third candidate to interview for the Jets’ GM post, following former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and former Titans GM Jon Robinson. The team, led by Chairman Woody Johnson, is working with a support role, “The 33rd Team,” to identify and vet candidates.
