Luka Doncic made a successful debut with the Los Angeles Lakers, leading his team to a blowout victory over the Utah Jazz. The 25-year-old star played 23 minutes and scored 16 points, shooting 6-for-13 from the field and 3-for-8 from three-point range.
Doncic’s performance came after a calf injury that had kept him out of action since Christmas. Despite being back in the lineup, he struggled with turnovers, committing five in the process. He also grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists.
The Lakers played their second game against the Jazz in as many nights, having previously met on Monday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The team’s next game is scheduled for February 19th against the Charlotte Hornets at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with tip-off set for 10 p.m. ET.
