macOS Tahoe Beta 2: Apple Addresses Feedback, Introduces New Features

Apple has released the second developer beta of macOS Tahoe, which includes several new features and changes for Mac users. Here are the key updates:

* The Finder app icon has been redesigned to its former glory, addressing user feedback from the first beta.
* The Migration Assistant app icon also received a fresh coat of paint.
* A “Show menu bar background” option has been added to the System Settings app under Menu Bar, allowing users to customize their experience.
* Developers can now enroll in beta testing for AirPods firmware updates directly on a Mac.
* Public betas for AirPods firmware updates will be available starting July for the first time, with improved audio quality and new features.

Additionally, Apple has made some other changes, including:

* A new Recovery Assistant feature that can help recover devices if they don’t start up normally.
* Improved support for Apple Intelligence when booting from an external drive.
* A new notification when a Mac is updated.
