EA Sports has reportedly leaked its release date for Madden NFL 26, with an official announcement expected soon. Fans can expect to hear about the game’s release window as early as this week, with a predicted date of April 25.
The Standard Edition of Madden 26 is likely to be released on August 14, while Deluxe Edition owners will get access three days earlier, on August 11. EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will also have a 10-hour trial on the latter date.
Madden 26 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but its release on Nintendo Switch 2 has not been confirmed. The game’s inclusion on older consoles, such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, remains uncertain at this time.
Following the success of Madden 25, which was the sixth-best-selling video game in the US in 2024, EA Sports is expected to build upon its features, including the BOOM Tech Tackling System and revamped Hit Stick. The game’s esports impact will be significant, with content creators ramping up their content and Madden Tournaments taking place in preparation for the release.
