They named their baby girl Golden Raye, continuing their metal-themed naming tradition that has been in place since the birth of their first two children. The idea for the metal-themed naming tradition began when Brittany got her dog Steel in college. She then got another dog named Silver, which led to her choosing Sterling as the name for their first child. After that, she decided not to use Sterling for herself but instead gave it to their daughter’s future nickname, Bronze. The couple wanted to keep the tradition going with their third child.
Patrick also shared that his brother Jackson suggested the nickname Bronze for him. According to Patrick, the nickname fits perfectly with Sterling and is a unique twist on their naming style. The family has expressed that they are happy with their metal-themed names and enjoy the connections between them.
