A man believed to be Bijan Arceo, 32, has been charged with trespassing with the intent to commit an offense after attempting to jump over an exterior wall at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in Florida earlier this week. Authorities reported that Arceo was detained by Secret Service agents around 6 p.m. on Tuesday and later arrested by Palm Beach police. According to a police affidavit, Arceo accessed the estate from South Ocean Boulevard via the north service gate without any issues.
Palm Beach police emphasized that while the incident had no impact on Secret Service operations, they take such matters seriously and are handling this locally. The Secret Service stated in a statement that the arrest is being managed at the state level and thanks the Town of Palm Beach Police Department for their prompt response and collaboration. Jail records indicate that Arceo is currently in custody at the Palm Beach County Jail on a $20,000 bond, with no further charges expected to be filed at this time.
