After nearly four months, Mariah admitted she was unaware of Katy’s Blue Origin space expedition with Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, and others. When asked about it on BBC Radio’s Scott Mills Breakfast Show, Mariah said “Did she go to space? Where’d she go? Into orbit and back?” She initially seemed taken aback by the news but soon became supportive of her fellow pop star. Mariah expressed pride in Katy’s accomplishment, saying “Wow, alright Katy. That’s pretty amazing.” The 56-year-old singer also downplayed any potential jealousy, stating “I think I’ve done enough.”
