Fortnite’s Winterfest 2024 is set to kick off on December 20, featuring a special in-game event that may include a performance by pop star Mariah Carey. The event will begin at 8pm GMT UK time and will last until January 7. Fans can expect to earn free items and rewards, including two new skins: YuleJacket and Santa Snoop Dogg.
The Winterfest celebration will also bring back “The Cabin,” a festive gift-giving experience that offers exclusive rewards. Additional skins and cosmetics will be available through the item shop, including Mariah Carey’s skin and Santa Shaq.
Game players can expect to equip special wearable ice cubes, resembling ice skates, and browse festive kicks and returning bundles. The Fortnite Battle Royale map will also be transformed into a winter wonderland with snow covering the landscape for the duration of the event.
Winterfest 2024 is set to launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
