Grammy-winning musician Mark Ronson has been recovering after suffering an injury while DJing at a live show. The “Uptown Funk” singer shared a photo of himself giving a thumbs up in a hospital bed, explaining that he popped two bicep tendons while trying to compensate for poor sound quality on stage.
Ronson’s physical struggles come as he prepares to release his new book, Night People: How to Be a DJ in ’90s New York City. The memoir chronicles his time as a DJ and explores the vibrant nightlife of 1990s New York City, where he formed strong bonds with fellow musicians and clubgoers.
Despite his injury, Ronson has returned to DJing, sharing that he’s “FULLY BACK IN LOVE WITH DJING AGAIN.” He recently performed at various gigs and contributed to several high-profile projects, including Kelly Clarkson’s Christmas album and the soundtrack for A Minecraft Movie.
