Mary Tyler Moore’s Greenwich Mansion Sells for $16.9 Million

Mary Tyler Moore’s iconic Connecticut mansion has finally sold, marking the end of a nearly four-year journey for her widower, S. Robert Levine. The sprawling 7-acre property, which spans over 13,800 square feet, was listed at $21.9 million in September 2023 and sold for its most recent asking price of $16.9 million.

The Georgian Colonial-style home, built in 1900, boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a primary suite with dual bathrooms, dressing rooms, and closets spanning over 2,000 square feet. Other luxurious features include a glass conservatory, elevator, gym with hot tub and sauna, and a 65-foot pool with an outdoor fireplace.

Levine had been trying to sell the property since September 2023, using an LLC as Moore and Levine purchased it in 2006 for $9 million. The buyer was represented by Sotheby’s International Realty – Greenwich Brokerage, while Helene Barre and Fran Ehrlich of Sotheby’s in Greenwich represented the buyer.

“It was an honor to represent this remarkable property, once home to a beloved TV icon,” said Joseph Barbieri, representing Levine.
