Rockstar’s upcoming game, Grand Theft Auto VI, is expected to feature the largest map in the series’ history. Although not officially confirmed by Rockstar, various sources suggest that the game will take place around and inspired by Vice City, a city modeled after Miami and Florida.
The trailer for GTA VI shows snippets of the map, which includes areas such as Vice City, the Everglades, mountains, countryside, air and military bases, and even what appears to be Miami Beach. According to fans, this means the game’s map will stretch along miles of coastline.
To put it into perspective, a fan on Reddit compared the concept art for GTA VI’s map with real-life images of Miami Beach. While users have mixed reactions about the scale of the game’s world, some are cautiously optimistic that Rockstar will be able to create an immersive and explorable environment despite its expansive size.
With only a few months left until the game’s release, fans can’t wait to experience GTA VI’s massive map for themselves.
