British singer Matt Healy is set to release his sixth album, which is rumored to be inspired by his brief relationship with Taylor Swift. The Tortured Poets Department, Swift’s 2024 album, hints at the on-again-off-again romance between the two, with songs such as “But Daddy I Love Him” and “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”.
Healy was spotted with Swift in June 2023 for a month, following her split from actor Joe Alwyn and beginning of high-profile relationship with American footballer Travis Kelce. The Sun reports that Healy’s new album will include the title song “God Has Entered My Body”, featuring lyrics such as “Keep your head up Princess, your tiara is falling”.
The 1975 band, which also releases music on Healy’s record label, is preparing for their sixth studio album and a possible Glastonbury Festival performance this year. The band’s name was inspired by Healy’s copy of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road. No further comments from Healy are expected on his relationships, but the new music will provide insight into his side of the story.
