Actress Maya Hawke claims some directors demand a minimum number of Instagram followers from their cast before moving forward with a project. However, she notes that social media followers aren’t the only factor, and “10” directors can still produce films based on reputation alone. Hawke has been fortunate to work with three such sets, including Quentin Tarantino, Bradley Cooper, and Wes Anderson.
