A fatal stabbing occurred at a McDonald’s restaurant in Eastpointe, Michigan, after a dispute between two employees. The incident happened on July 10 around 7:55 a.m. and involved a customer who fired a shot to stop the attack but was not hit.
According to police, the dispute began as an argument between the two women before one of them returned with a knife and attacked her coworker. A witness intervened, firing a shot to stop the incident, and the suspect was detained until officers arrived.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. The Eastpointe McDonald’s owner expressed his condolences to the victim’s family and emphasized the importance of employee safety and customer well-being. An investigation is ongoing, with the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office reviewing potential charges against the suspect.
