McLaren has revealed its 2025 MCL39 car, featuring “new innovations” aimed at fending off rivals in the upcoming Formula 1 season. Team driver Oscar Piastri praised his experience with the simulator, saying it’s feeling “pretty good,” but noted that real-world performance is yet to be determined.
McLaren, the reigning Constructors’ champions, are looking to maintain their title this year. The team has made changes to its car to stay ahead of competitors, despite entering the same regulation cycle as last season. Piastri emphasized the importance of continuous improvement, highlighting the need for teams to continually adapt and innovate to remain at the top.
The camouflage livery of the MCL39 was designed to conceal external changes compared to its 2024 predecessor. However, the full season’s color scheme will be unveiled on February 18 at the O2 Arena.
