Measles Case Confirmed in Northwest Iowa

A measles case has been confirmed in northwest Iowa, according to the state Department of Health and Human Services. The patient, an adult with no known connections to other cases in the state, recently visited several locations before symptoms appeared.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has identified potential exposure sites, including SuperHiTech and Kwik Star in Sheldon, as well as Casey’s General Store on Division Street in Hull. People who have been at these locations recently are advised to take precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
