She also praised her mother and daughter Lilibet, saying that at three years old, Lilibet has already found her voice and is proud of it.
Markle emphasized the challenges women face in being heard when speaking up, but encouraged others to use their voices as well. She highlighted the work of the Archewell Foundation, which aims to create a sense of community where women are heard and valued.
The foundation’s new initiative, the Parents Network, provides support for parents who have lost children or faced online harm. Markle emphasized the importance of this network in providing a voice for affected individuals.
During their visit to Colombia, Harry and Meghan also stopped by a local drum academy, showcasing indigenous African percussion styles. They were warmly received by locals, including the vice president, who joined them on stage to dance.
Security measures for the royal couple are stringent, with armed servicemen, bomb experts, and police officers maintaining vigilance throughout their visit. The trip marks the end of their four-day tour through Latin America, which also included stops in Cartagena and San Basilio de Palenque.
