Meghan Markle’s highly anticipated Netflix show “With Love” has been delayed due to the ongoing devastating Los Angeles wildfires. The premiere, originally set for January, has now been pushed back to March at the request of the Duchess.
Markle expressed gratitude towards her partners at Netflix for supporting the delay, stating that they are focusing on helping those impacted by the wildfires in California. The show’s first trailer premiered in early January and features Markle doing various activities, including cooking with celebrity chef Roy Choi and chatting with friends Mindy Kaling and Paris Hilton.
The LA wildfires have caused significant destruction, burning over 12,000 structures and spanning 37,000 acres as of January 12. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office reported a death toll of 24, with many celebrities losing their homes in the fires, including Billy Crystal and Cameron Mathison.
Production delays in the entertainment industry have been widespread, with shows such as “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Grey’s Anatomy” also affected. Markle and Prince Harry have been seen helping with fire relief efforts for victims.
The exact release date for “With Love” has not been announced yet, but fans can expect updates on the show’s status in the coming months.
