Meghan’s Netflix Series Postponed Due to California Wildfires

Meghan Markle has delayed the premiere of her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” due to the devastating wildfires sweeping through Southern California. The show, set in Montecito, California, was originally scheduled for January 15 but will now debut on March 4.

Markle, who is also supporting relief efforts in Los Angeles alongside her husband Prince Harry, praised her partners at Netflix for supporting the delay. “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” she said.

The couple has been aiding relief efforts and recently met with first responders and people affected by the fires. The fires have forced over 105,000 residents under evacuation orders, with at least 16 deaths reported so far. Both the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire are still burning, with the Palisades Fire being the most destructive fire in LA County’s history.

Authorities warn that despite progress made, the fire threat remains “very high” as dangerous Santa Ana winds return early this week.
