The other semifinal features No. 2 Maryland (13-3) facing off against No. 6 Syracuse (13-5). This matchup is highlighted by the Terrapins’ quest for their fourth national title and Syracuse’s 11-time championship history. Joey Spallina and Owen Hiltz are expected to be key contributors for the Orange, which has been nearly invisible on championship weekend since 2013.
Both contests will feature rematches of regular-season games, with each team looking to capitalize on its familiar opponents. The TV schedule is set for noon ET (Cornell-Penn State) and 2:30 p.m. ET (Maryland-Syracuse), with ESPN2 airing the events.
