Meta Platforms Inc. is revamping its smartwatch and expanding into new wearables such as Oakley-branded glasses, watches, and earbuds with AI features. Reality Labs, the company’s devices group, aims to release high-end AR glasses called “Artemis” in 2027.
The company plans to launch Oakley-branded smart glasses for athletes this year, as well as new high-end glasses with a built-in display scheduled for 2025. These moves are part of Meta’s efforts to embed its AI capabilities into more products.
