Micah Parsons Predicts Jayden Daniels’ Upset Over Detroit Lions

NFL linebacker Micah Parsons has made a bold prediction for the upcoming divisional round playoff game between the Washington Commanders and the Detroit Lions. Despite being a member of rival team, Parsons believes rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has what it takes to lead the Commanders to an upset victory.

Parsons, who recently spoke with NFL Media about his thoughts on Mike McCarthy’s departure from the Cowboys, noted that Daniels is one of only four rookie quarterbacks to win a road playoff game. If he can win one, he can win another, Parsons said.

The former was correct as Daniel led the Commanders to a 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, marking their first playoff victory since 2005. Parsons praised Daniels’ ability to finish games and noted that the Lions will need to stop him if they want to come out on top.

In an interview, Parsons made comparisons between Daniels and some of the league’s elite quarterbacks, saying “beside from Patrick Mahomes, there isn’t a better quarterback at finishing games.” However, Parsons also warned that the Commanders’ success will depend on their ability to stop Daniels.
