Michael Bublé Praises iOS 18.2 Voice Memos Feature

iOS 18.2 is now available for iPhone users, and one of its new features is gaining high praise from musical artist Michael Bublé. The update introduces a feature called Layered Recordings in Voice Memos, which allows users to record vocals over existing instrumental tracks with ease.

This feature was first demoed on the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, but is now available for all iPhone users with iOS 18.2. Apple describes it as “tailored for musicians” who can use studio-quality microphones and intuitive controls to capture high-quality vocals without needing headphones.

Bublé recently used the feature to record vocals for his latest Christmas song, Maybe This Christmas. He gave a glowing endorsement of the update, stating that he believes it will “change the way we make music forever.”

With Layered Recordings, users can import their recordings into Logic Pro as a two-track project, providing a seamless workflow for high-quality music production. The feature is available now in iOS 18.2 and has been praised by musical artists like Bublé.
