Michael Burry says his hedge fund firm is no longer operating as a registered entity, but he is still actively involved in markets. In an email to Bloomberg News, Burry described the latest iteration of his fund as “essentially a friends and family fund” that was not marketed to new investors. This approach allowed him to avoid some of the problems he experienced with his previous fund, Scion Capital.
