Michael Lohan Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge in Texas

Michael Lohan, 64, was arrested in Texas on Friday for allegedly causing domestic violence against his estranged wife Kate Major, 42. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Major observed her husband in a parking lot and reported him to authorities after he “flipped her out of a chair” at their residence.

Major had previously filed for divorce in 2018, citing abuse by Lohan, including allegedly throwing a candle at him which cut his arm. She also petitioned for sole custody of their two sons, Landon and Logan.

Lohan was arrested without incident and is being held on a $30,000 bond for Continuous Family Violence. This is not the first time he has faced domestic violence charges; in 2020, he was previously arrested in New York after allegedly assaulting Major.

The arrest comes as Michael Lohan continues to navigate his personal life, including his marriage to Kate Major which ended in 2018. He shares children with former wife Dina Lohan, including Lindsay, 38, and siblings Michael Jr., 37, Aliana, 31, and Dakota, 28.
