Michael Madsen Dead at 67 After Cardiac Arrest

Veteran actor Michael Madsen has died at the age of 67 due to cardiac arrest. According to his representatives, Madsen was found unresponsive in his Malibu home earlier this morning.

Madsen is best known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino films such as “Reservoir Dogs,” “Kill Bill: Vol. 2,” and “The Hateful Eight.” He also starred in notable movies like “The Natural,” “Thelma & Louise,” and “Free Willy.”

In a statement, Madsen’s managers and publicist remembered him as an iconic actor who will be deeply missed. Vivica Fox, who worked with Madsen on the film “Kill Bill,” shared her condolences, calling him “an amazing on-screen presence” and expressing her gratitude for their time working together.

Madsen was born in Chicago in 1957 and began his acting career in Los Angeles in the early ’80s. Throughout his career, he appeared in a wide range of memorable roles, including “WarGames,” “Die Another Day,” and “Sin City.”

The late actor once said, “Fame is a two-edged sword. It has its blessings, but also its heavy things… I think people really fear me. They see me and go: ‘Holy s—, there’s that guy!’ But I’m just an actor. I’m a father, a husband.”
