U.S News & World Report has released its rankings of the top 250 places to live in the US, with several Michigan cities earning spots within the top 100. The list considers over 850 cities across the country, evaluating factors such as job market, quality of life, desirability, and public safety.
Michigan’s top 6 cities include Rochester Hills (No. 9), Troy (No. 10), Midland (No. 32), Novi (No. 34), Farmington Hills (No. 57), and Livonia (No. 88). Other Michigan cities also made the cut, including Sterling Heights, Dearborn, Wyoming, and Traverse City.
The rankings are based on a combination of survey data from 3,000 people across the country, who were asked about their priorities when choosing a place to live. This year’s survey highlighted quality of life, value, desirability, job market, and net migration as key factors.
