Mick Jagger Pays Tribute to Late Singer Marianne Faithfull

Mick Jagger has paid tribute to his longtime friend and collaborator, singer Marianne Faithfull, who passed away at the age of 78. Jagger shared a heartfelt Instagram post just hours after news broke of her death on Thursday.

Faithfull was a key figure in The Rolling Stones’ career, with hits like “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and “Wild Horses”. She was also known for her acting career and appeared in several films. Jagger remembered Faithfull as a wonderful friend, beautiful singer, and great actress who will always be remembered.

Guitarist Keith Richards also paid tribute to Faithfull, sharing an Instagram post of himself with the late singer. Richards said he is “so sad” and will miss her, describing their friendship as one that brought him joy.

Faithfull’s career spanned over five decades, during which she collaborated with Jagger and The Rolling Stones on numerous occasions. Despite their high-profile relationship ending in 1970, Faithfull remained a close friend to the band.
