Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house after using “inappropriate language” and displaying “unacceptable behaviour”. The 72-year-old, who won a Bafta award in 2009 for his role in The Wrestler, was given a formal warning earlier in the week for similar comments towards US singer JoJo Siwa. Rourke sparked controversy with homophobic remarks about Siwa’s sexuality, and was accused of being aggressive towards fellow housemate Chris Hughes after he made comments about her relationship. After further discussions with Big Brother, Rourke agreed to leave the house on Saturday evening.
