Agent Mode in Excel allows users to leverage expert-level capabilities in Microsoft Excel without needing extensive knowledge. This AI-powered tool can perform complex calculations, analyze data, and create visualizations to help users make informed decisions.
In Word, Agent Mode enables users to work with an interactive conversational experience that drafts content, suggests refinements, and asks clarifying questions. This feature helps users focus on intent while Copilot brings the ideas to life.
Office Agent in Copilot chat is a new tool that creates high-quality PowerPoint presentations and Word documents from chat-based prompts. It uses deep research capabilities and code generation to produce engaging content.
These new tools are available in the Frontier program for Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed customers and subscribers. Users can try them by installing the Excel Labs add-in or Word on the web.
