Microsoft Fixes Server 2022 Boot Issues and Outlook Crashes

Microsoft has released a patch for Windows Server 2022 to fix boot issues caused by non-uniform memory access (NUMA) settings. Servers with NUMA configurations have been experiencing problems, including those used in high-performance computing (HPC) setups.

The new KB5052819 patch will address this issue and reduce downtime. Additionally, a workaround has been released for Outlook Classic to fix crashes caused by a recent update. The bug causes Version 2412 of Outlook to crash with error codes if users try to send, reply, or forward emails.

To resolve the issue with Outlook, users need to run a command as an administrator using officec2rclient.exe to apply a transitional patch. This step is crucial for successful deployment.
