Microsoft Fixes Windows Server 2022 Boot Issue with NUMA Nodes

Microsoft has addressed a bug causing some Windows Server 2022 systems with multiple NUMA nodes to fail startup. NUMA, or non-uniform memory access, is a computer architecture that optimizes performance in multi-processor systems.

The issue affected servers with two or more NUMA nodes, resulting in failure to start up. Microsoft released the KB5052819 support document and Windows Server 2022 servicing stack update (KB5050117) to fix the problem.

These updates ensure a robust and reliable servicing stack, allowing devices to receive and install Microsoft updates smoothly. The company has previously addressed similar issues with Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2025 devices, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to resolving system problems.
