Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has released its first update, version 1.1.10.0, which addresses several stability and performance issues, as well as fixes for broken jetways and aircraft problems. The update is now available for download.
The new update includes fixes for a crash that could occur when navigating fast between challenges, Tobii Eye Tracker hardware in the settings menu, and various crashes. Additionally, it resolves general bug issues such as unloading/reloading WASM gauges upon restarting a flight.
The SDK has also received updates, including a fix for the Traffic GUID object, which was previously encoded in 64 bits and caused issues with JavaScript. The update also includes fixes for aircraft models and interactions, such as hover effects.
The latest update is part of a two-part patch cycle, with the next hotfix expected later next week. Microsoft and Asobo will discuss this update and future plans on December 4th in their Developer Q&A session.
Before applying the update, players are advised to rename or move their ‘Community Folder’ packages to avoid any potential issues.
