Microsoft Introduces AI-Powered Research Tool and Podcasts to Copilot Platform

Microsoft recently held a major event showcasing its latest updates to the Copilot platform. The company announced nine new products, including Actions, Memory, Vision, Pages, Shopping, and Copilot Search. These features have already appeared on rival AI platforms like Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Two notable additions to the Copilot platform are Deep Research and podcasts. Deep Research is a comprehensive tool that helps users create well-drafted reports by compiling reliable sources and saving time on manual research. Users can access five free queries per month, with subscribers getting unlimited attempts and priority access.

Another exciting feature is AI-powered podcasts. Microsoft’s podcasts allow users to turn offline resources into audio content, while also enabling interaction with the Copilot platform during playback. This feature sets it apart from Google’s Gemini, which cannot be interacted with while listening. With these updates, Copilot has caught up with its competitors and provided users with a more robust AI-powered experience.
