Microsoft has made its advanced Copilot AI assistant feature “Voice” and “Think Deeper” available for free, thanks to a partnership with OpenAI. Voice enables users to have conversations with the AI assistant, while Think Deeper helps parse complicated queries, such as evaluating major purchases.
As of October 2024, anyone can access unlimited Voice and Think Deeper features without a paid subscription. However, members of Copilot Pro still receive priority access to newer AI models during peak usage times, including experimental features that are not yet available to free users. The company is working to expand the availability of these advanced features as quickly as possible while addressing potential delays or interruptions.
