Microsoft has released an update to the Release Preview Channel of Windows 10, version 22H2, build 19045.5435 (KB5050081). The update is now available for Insiders who are using the operating system.
The new features and improvements in this update include:
* A new calendar feature that allows users to stay informed about upcoming events and holidays.
* The new Outlook app as the default email client, replacing the previous mail app on the Start menu.
* Support for GB18030-2022 amendment.
* Fixes for issues related to virtual memory, Chinese Pinyin input method editor, Near Field Communication readers, USB Print and IPP Over USB, Windows Kernel Vulnerable Driver Blocklist file, and Screen capture.
Notably, this update addresses several known issues, including an issue that depletes virtual memory, causing some apps to fail. The update also adds new security features to protect against Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) attacks.
