Microsoft has released updates KB5077241 and KB26200.7918 to its Release Preview Channel for Windows Insiders, which includes features and improvements such as AI-powered capabilities, enhanced backup and restore options, and performance enhancements.
The updates include new features like:
– Emoji 16.0 release with new emojis
– First sign-in restore experience in Windows Backup for Organizations
– Quick Machine Recovery now turned on automatically for non-domain joined devices
– Built-in network speed test available from the taskbar
– Improved Taskbar behavior when opening multiple windows
– New account menu entry directing to benefits page
– Support for Microsoft Entra ID group and role SID resolution
Other updates include performance improvements, reliability fixes, and enhancements to various Windows features. The updates are now available in the Release Preview Channel, and users can install them by checking for updates on their device.
Note: To enable built-in Sysmon, go to Settings > System > Optional features > More Windows features > checking Sysmon or in PowerShell or command prompt run Dism /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:Sysmon.
