Migrating Obsidian Vault to NotebookLM Simplified with 2 Plugins

I recently paired my Obsidian vault with NotebookLM, unlocking new levels of productivity in my notes. However, transferring the large file was slow and tedious. That’s when I discovered two specialized plugins that made the process easy.

To begin, I created a single document from my entire knowledge base using the Vault 2 Book plugin. This plugin took all my separate notes and consolidated them into a clean Markdown file, making it easier to work with.

Next, I exported the combined document as a PDF using Better Export PDF. This plugin helped me save time by exporting the file quickly and efficiently.

With both plugins in place, I uploaded my unified PDF to NotebookLM. The results were impressive – my knowledge vault was now an AI-ready platform that could provide precise answers to my questions.

The two-plugin strategy made all the difference. Now, instead of searching for information manually, I can type a question into NotebookLM and receive accurate answers with little citations linking me back to the original source.

By migrating my Obsidian vault to NotebookLM, I’ve achieved a significant productivity upgrade. It’s no longer just a matter of organizing notes; it’s about having an intelligent tool that works for me.
